Executive Summary
Part 1 A: IISIS Business Plan Executive Summary
Over the last ten years, multiple, independently researched reincarnation cases have emerged, including cases studied at the University of Virginia, which demonstrate that facial features and personality traits remain consistent from one incarnation to another. These cases include children who spontaneously recall past lives, whose memories have been factually validated. These developments represent a dramatic breakthrough in the potential to understand the spiritual nature of the human being, as reincarnation research can now be conducted with a greater degree of objectivity than ever before. Research has also shown that talents and passions can continue from one lifetime to another, as demonstrated in the reincarnation cases of Picasso, Gauguin and Laurel & Hardy. The case of Pablo Picasso/Alexandra Nechita provides an explanation for child prodigies, as Alexandra was deemed a master Cubist artist at the age of eight.
One of the most significant independently researched reincarnation cases involves Barbro Karlen, who, at the age of three, reported spontaneous memories of being Holocaust victim Anne Frank. Barbro reported to her parents that she was Anne Frank before the Frank diary was published, at a time when neither she, nor her parents, knew who the historic Anne Frank was. At the age of ten, though she had never been to Amsterdam before, Barbro was able to lead her parents from their hotel to the Anne Frank House, without directions, and she was able to identify where artifacts should have been located within the Frank House, artifacts that had been removed for preservation. Anne Frank was persecuted as a Jew, while Barbro Karlen was born into a Christian family in Sweden. The observation that souls can change religious, racial, national and ethnic affiliation from one incarnation to another has great societal impact and can help prevent violence based on differences in such affiliations. A powerful videotaped presentation of Barbro Karlen telling her story in her own words is available for review.
Independently researched reincarnation cases are presented in Part B of the IISIS Business Plan. These cases also demonstrate that individuals can reincarnate very quickly, even within 10 days of death. This observation implies that historical figures have been returning to life on the earth regularly and frequently. Until now, mankind has not had methods to identify these individuals across incarnations.
Walter Semkiw, MD, has complied independently researched reincarnation cases in his books, Return of the Revolutionaries and Born Again. In addition, Dr. Semkiw has discovered that accurate reincarnation matches can be derived through trance medium Kevin Ryerson, author of Spirit Communication: The Soul’s Path. A database of over 1500 reincarnation cases has been derived by Dr. Semkiw and Mr. Ryerson over the last 5 years. Many of these cases involve historical figures. Cases solved through Mr. Ryerson are also presented in Part B of the IISIS Business Plan.
As their reincarnation research has gained visibility, many proposed reincarnation cases are now forwarded to Dr. Semkiw, which are then evaluated through Mr. Ryerson and other methods of validation. IISIS has the mission of researching, evaluating and archiving reincarnation cases, as well as studying soul evolution and dimensions of existence. As individuals incarnate in groups, analysis of the evolution and karma of soul groups, even on a national level, will be done. In addition, IISIS will conduct extensive educational efforts regarding reincarnation research and its implications for society. This work will help usher in a more enlightened and peaceful chapter of human history.
The initial phase of IISIS funding will be used to investigate ways to further validate reincarnation cases through qualitative analyses, such as through comparison of facial features, personality traits, linguistic style, musical composition and performance patterns, fine art and performance art styles. In addition, ways to prove reincarnation cases through DNA or other biochemical analysis will be investigated.
As more and more objective evidence of reincarnation is accumulated, practical implications of this research, for individuals, communities and nations, will be a future focus for IISIS. The IISIS board is passionate about research that produces objective evidence of reincarnation because of the great societal impact that this research will bring, as demonstrated by the reincarnation case of Anne Frank. Indeed, for the first time in history, a true science of spirituality can be developed through objective evidence of reincarnation and a new level of enlightenment for humanity can be envisioned.
