Dean Kamen | Benjamin Franklin
Another case of interest
involves Benjamin Franklin, who has reincarnated
as Dean Kamen, the inventor of the Segway
Scooter. Both Franklin and Kamen can be characterized
as inventors with a passion for creating
new technology that will benefit humanity
as a whole. In addition to the Segway Scooter,
Kamen has invented a number of medical devices,
including the stent placed in Vice President
Dick Cheney's heart.
Symbolically, Kamen founded
his first medical company in 1976, the Bicentennial
of the United States. He later invented a
wheelchair that traverses rough terrain and
can elevate the wheelchair user to eye level
of a person who is standing. Mr. Kamen named
his wheelchair the "Independence" (see http://www.indetech.com for
more information about Dean Kamen and the
Independence)
The case of Franklin/Kamen
was solved by Ahtun Re, a spirit guide channeled
through Kevin
Ryerson, the trance medium featured in
a number of Shirley MacLaine's books. Another
fascinating case solved in this manner, which
can be found in Return of the Revolutionaries,
is that of David
Rittenhouse/Carl Sagan.
By the way, Benjamin Franklin believed in
reincarnation. Dr. Franklin even wrote an epitaph
for himself, meant for his gravestone, in which
he alludes to a future lifetime. Dean Kamen,
apparently, is a revised and corrected form.
Mr. Kamen is someone I want to meet and get
to know, as a friend.
