Past Lives of Michael Jackson and a Childhood Lost
By Walter Semkiw, MD
Michael Jackson passed away on June 25, 2009. I first heard of Michael’s death just before going on stage in Chennai, India. I was traveling through Indonesia and India to promote my books on reincarnation, Born Again and Origin of the Soul, and I had been presenting reincarnation cases involving Michael during this tour. I had been telling audiences that it was only through knowledge of his past lives that one could truly understand Michael Jackson.
I was hoping that some day I would be able to share these past lives that we had researched for Michael, so it was especially sad and poignant for me when I learned of his death.
As I have had a web site on reincarnation for many years, visitors to my site would write to me and propose reincarnation matches for further evaluation. One person wrote to me inquiring whether Michael Jackson may be the reincarnation of Amadeus Mozart, as both have been perceived to be musical geniuses, as well as eccentric.
I evaluate proposed reincarnation cases through my work with Kevin Ryerson, who is the trance medium that Shirley MacLaine has worked with for 30 years and who is featured in four of Shirley’s books.
I started working with Kevin in 2001 and found that he channels a spirit being named Ahtun Re who has the ability to make accurate reincarnation matches. Ahtun Re relates that his last lifetime was in Egypt and that he has not incarnated on Earth in over 3000 years. An introduction to the work that Kevin, Ahtun Re and I have been doing can be found on the web page, Past Lives of Neale Donald Walsch With Other Cases Solved Through Kevin Ryrerson.
Though the proposed reincarnation match between Mozart and Michael Jackson did not ring true to me, in a session with Kevin, I asked Ahtun Re about it. Ahtun Re told me that Jackson was not the reincarnation of Mozart. I then asked for a past lifetime for Michael.
There was silence on the other end of the telephone line as Ahtun Re went into a brief meditation to scan what is called the Akashic Record or Universal Mind, looking for a past incarnation of Jackson. After a silence of fifteen seconds or so, Ahtun Re spoke. He told me:
“Jackson was a good friend of the French playwright Molière. If you research Molière, you will find Michael Jackson.”
Though many times Ahtun Re can give me the exact name of a individual in a past incarnation, such as in the cases of Ralph Nader, Neale Donald Walsch and Carl Sagan, sometimes Ahtun Re will advise me where to look instead. I have found that Ahtun Re is very accurate in locating individuals’ past lives in time and place.
Molière lived from 1622 to 1673 and his troupe performed before the court of King Louis XIV. Molière, according to Wikipedia, had a “genius for mockery” and became “one of the greatest masters of comedy in Western literature.”
Consider that Molière lived in France almost 400 years ago. Think of the billions of people who have lived on our planet over this period of time. By advising me to look for Michael Jackson as a close friend of Molière, Ahtun Re was picking a needle out of a haystack. Ahtun Re’s ability to repeatedly make accurate reincarnation matches involving obscure people has made me trust his talents.
After the session with Kevin and Ahtun Re, which occurred in 2006 or so, I ordered two biographies on Molière. I found that at one point in his life, Molière and his theatrical troupe would travel by barge along a river. They would stop at each town along the way and pitch a tent, where they would charge the local residents admission to watch their theatrical plays. This is how the troupe earned a living.
At one town, I read that a singer named Charles Dassoucy joined Molière’s troupe. In the biography on Molière, it was specifically written that Dassoucy traveled with two young boys.
As the theatrical group traveled down river, Dassoucy would help pass the time by singing for his colleagues. At one point, Dassoucy told his friends that he had given himself the self proclaimed title, “Emperor of Entertainers,” much as like Michael Jackson gave himself the title, “King of Pop.”
I later found a portrait of Charles Dassoucy and noted that there was an uncanny resemblance to Michael Jackson. Indeed, it appeared that through his plastic surgeries, Jackson was trying to look more like Dassoucy, a Caucasian.
In a subsequent session with Kevin Ryerson, Ahtun Re confirmed that Michael Jackson was Charles Dassoucy in a past incarnation. I did not discuss the Dassoucy/Jackson case publicly at that time, though, because I was uncomfortable with it. Michael had already been going through turmoil due to his association with young boys at his Neverland Ranch. I didn’t have the heart to discuss this reincarnation case in which it was documented that as Dassoucy, Jackson also associated with young boys 400 years ago.
It wasn’t until a year or so later that I revisited the case. This time, in a session with Kevin Ryerson, I asked Ahtun Re why Jackson had this tendency to associate with young boys in two different lifetimes.
Ahtun Re explained that the origin of this behavior stems from an earlier lifetime in which Michael Jackson, as a young boy, was enlisted in what was called the Children’s Crusades, which occurred around 1200 AD. In the Crusades, Christians from Europe waged battle with Muslim soldiers to retake Jerusalem from the Muslims.
When the Crusaders ran out of young men to fight, someone had the idea to enlist young boys to join the cause. Michael Jackson was one of these young boys who were pressed into service and Michael lost his life as a young boy in battle.
Ahtun Re explained that the experience of losing his life as a child soldier in the Crusades led to an emotional trauma being inflicted on Michael Jackson’s soul which has persisted for 800 years. His loss of childhood in battle has led to an urge to never lose his childhood again, which has led to Michael Jackson’s image as a man-child.
Jackson’s association with young boys reflects the loss of comrade child soldiers in the Children’s Crusades and his need to reclaim and reunite with his fellow child soldiers. Indeed, it is very likely that some of the children Jackson hosted at his Neverland Ranch were reincarnated child soldiers from the Children’s Crusades, children that Michael knew in that past era.
We tend to repeat patterns from one incarnation to another. Talents often times come though and in this way, reincarnation explains child prodigies. Reincarnation cases that involve prodigies include Paul Gauguin/Peter Teekamp, Pablo Picasso/Alexandra Nechita, Laurel & Hardy/Josh & Danny Bacher, Claude LeDoux/Wayne Peteson and Anne Frank/Barbro Karlen. All these cases are featured in Born Again.
The child prodigy cases of Michelangelo/Paul-Felix Montez and Beethoven/Gustavo Dudamel are featured in Origin of the Soul.
Michael Jackson was also a child prodigy singer and artist. His talent is explained by prior incarnations in which he also was a singer, such as in his lifetime as Charles Dassoucy, the “Emperor of Entertainers.”
Why did Michael Jackson have plastic surgeries which made it appear as if he was creating a Caucasian version of himself? I believe that he did this because Jackson had not had prior incarnations as an individual with African ancestry. As such, Michael unconsciously was trying to look more like he did in prior incarnations, when he was Caucasian.
For me, the reincarnation cases involving Michael Jackson are of great importance, as they allow us to understand an individual’s behavior that has defied comprehension until now. If Ahtun Re’s assessment that Jackson lost his life as a child in the Crusades 800 years ago is accepted, rather than being perplexed about Michael’s ways, one can have understanding and compassion for him.
For me, this case also has great significance in that it dramatically demonstrates Ahtun Re’s abilities. What are the odds of finding a singer who is a friend of Molière, who calls himself the “Emperor of Entertainers,” who travels with young boys and who has the same facial features as Michael Jackson?
In conclusion, I hope that Michael Jackson can integrate his past lifetime during the Crusades and can release the trauma incurred as a child soldier. Perhaps he will be able to do so in between incarnations or perhaps he will only be able to do so in a future lifetime on Earth. I have no doubt that Michael will indeed reincarnate, though we don’t know if he will return as a man or a woman, or whether he will be Black, White or another color.
As demonstrated in the very important case of Anne Frank/Barbro Karlen, reincarnation research shows that we can change religion, nationality and ethnic affiliation from one incarnation to another. We can also change race and gender, though in 90 percent of cases, we tend to return in the same gender.
As such, the morphing that occurs at the end of Michael Jackson’s music video, Black or White (5:15 into the video, though the whole video is worth watching!), is truly how it works (fast forward to the final. In different lifetimes, we incarnate into different races, religions and nationalities. We can even change gender, though out bone structure, our facial appearance, tends to remain consistent from one incarnation to another.
Two very important reincarnation cases researched by Ian Stevenson, MD, at the University of Virginia, which demonstrate that facial features remain the same from one lifetime to another, are those of Suzanne Ghanem and Daniel Jurdi.
There will only be peace on Earth when humanity realizes that reincarnation is a reality and that we can change religion, nationality and ethnic affiliation from one incarnation to another. We can be Palestinian in one lifetime and Israeli in another, Muslim in one incarnation and Christian in another, we indeed can be Black or White.
Michael, may you have peace wherever you are and we look forward to your return. We will look for the little boy who is singing.
